Jack Returns to the Spotlight after 8 years
In 2011, when he was just 14 years old, he won the fifth series of Australia’s Got Talent and was touted as “Australia’s Justin Bieber”. Now, in 2019, Jack Vidgen is back in the spotlight, this time on The Voice.
He managed to make all four judges turn their chairs with his rendition of
Adele’s “Hello” before electing to join Guy Sebastian’s team.
Saturday’s episode drew one of the biggest television audiences of night with 1.11 million viewers tuning in to see Jack perform. He will now progress to “The Knockouts” next week.
Several other contestants on The Voice this year are also familiar to the audience as part of the “All Stars” theme this season, including: former children’s entertainer Nathan Foley, former Zimbabwean test cricketer Henry Olonga, and former Australian Idol contestant Lee Harding.
