Nowra Is Celebrating International Make Music Day With A Free Concert
International Make Music Day will is celebrated annually on June 21 and what better way to celebrate than holding a free concert.
Shoalhaven Music and Performing Arts Studio, Sing Australia Vincentia, Raised Voices and The Shoalhaven Community Choir are all teaming up to bring you a celebration of music.
The international day originated back in 1982, with France celebrating its annual Fête de la Musique but now, the tradition is celebrated in over 1,000 cities and 120 countries.
The aim of the event is to bring the community together and showcase local talent.
While the event is free to attend, a tasty supper is being offered with a gold coin donation going towards Greenwell Point Hospital Auxiliary.
You can join in on the celebrations at the Uniting Church Hall in Nowra.
