Three Ways To Subtly Ask Someone For Their Recipe

We’ve all been there right, in the office, someone’s brought in a homemade post lunch treat for everyone and the following conversation inevitably arises. “I can’t believe you made this! You’ll have to send the recipe!” They agree, flattered at the compliments, but deep down know they’ll never remember to by the end of the day.

  • Give it a couple days and announce casually to the group of people “aw man, im really craving “insert food name you want the recipe for” right now, any one know any good recipes?”  as you say this you need to look directly at the recipe withholder.

  • Make your own terrible version of the snack, bring it into the office and share it around. Apologies for it not tasting very good and mention how you don’t really have a good recipe for it…yet. As you say this you need to look directly at the recipe withholder.

  • Subtlety email this article to them! If your reading this, its time to share the recipe.
