Your old VHS tapes could be worth $100k

Recently, a VHS videotape of the 1986s blockbuster Back to the Future set a new record for the most one has ever sold for, going for a whopping $108,000.

Now, partly it was because it was sealed, near-mind condition, and was owned by Tom Wilson, the actor who played Biff Tannen in the trilogy. He even included a signed note that read, “This is a VHS tape of the first release of Back to the Future, sent to me by the studio at that time. Since I knew that the VHS platform would be around forever, I saved it for later and now I can’t find a VCR. Oh well. Enjoy!”

Have you got any old tapes left around?

You might not quite be able to sell them for over $100k, but hey, they might be worth more than you thought!
