Aussie Country Boy Entertains the Netherlands
According to Bega-raised, Wollongong-based Corey Legge, the Dutch know how to party, that’s what one of his latest Instagram posts states. Corey is part-way through a pub tour in the Netherlands and Germany. Corey brings his award-winning blues, rock and country music at five shows in the Netherlands and one in Germany at the English-styled Shakespeare Pub. Corey’s taken the time to sight-see in between shows, climbing to the top of Balduin Tower, a 50 metre high tower located on Belgium soil, which provides a stunning elevated view at the point where Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands meet.
Corey’s trip overseas launches his Moments in the Sun album (his fourth album in five years) to a European audience.
Corey will perform as support act for Ross Wilson and the Peaceniks next month, with a show on July 19th at Wollongong Town Hall. The concert promises to deliver a night of Daddy Cool and Mondo Rock classics as well as newer tunes penned by Ross Wilson like 2023’s “She’s stuck on Facebook All The Time”.
