Free Pilates classes for Men’s Health Week!

This week marks the 30th anniversary of Men’s Health Week, taking place from June 10-16. This is a fantastic opportunity support and promote men’s health and wellbeing! In honour of this, Studio Pilates Wollongong is offering free Reformer Pilates classes until the 16th of June, to all new and existing male clients.

Reformer Pilates combines traditional elements of mat Pilates with a Reformer machine, adding resistance. Each exercise involves slow, controlled movement, using the whole body. This improves posture, muscle tone and strength. What’s more – it increases cognitive function and has an emphasis on breathing technique, which can help reduce anxiety and stress.

‘Studio Pilates Wollongong team believe mental health is important, and are here to provide support to community, by offering free classes to men until the 16th of June. We want to open the conversation about men’s mental health and stay connected to our community’, Ruby Losinno, lead Generation and Marketing Coordinator at the studio says.
